RETIRED LISTS

Hundreds of stamps, wheels, and accessories are retiring, and this is your chance to get them before they're gone. Many retiring products are only available while supplies last, so don’t miss your chance—place your order today in my Online Store!

There seems to be a concern for those that have noticed that the current inkpads are retiring. You need not be concerned......Stampin' Up! is simply revamping their pads for better ink coverage. The core colors are staying. The only colors that will be retiring are the 2010-2012 In-Colors, but those will be replaced with some new In-Colors!

I also realize that the list is so long and overwhelming to you. Of course people can't afford to purchase everything they want before it's gone but please keep in mind that this will make room for more FABULOUSNESS! A whole year of it!

April Projects

I had a great time with my club ladies today! We made 2 projects: one was using the new summer smooches DSP and fabric buttons. I LOVE the colors....very summer-y! Then the other project is a treat holder. Needless to say, I was having a sweet tooth as I was creating these projects....he he he.

First off, we made a "treat" card. on this project we used the following supplies:
  1.  Summer Smooches DSP
  2. Summer smooches fabric brad
  3. Something Sweet stamp set
  4. sweet treat cups
  5. Perfect Punches stamp set (for the "Pull" tab)

The treat holder below is very simple to make. All you need is a 5 1/2" x 5" piece of CS scored every 7/8" along the 5 1/2" side. Then punch your choice flower, in this case, I used the "Blossom" punch. Score the two punched out flowers using your tube as a template and fold over the petals onto the tube! So cute!

For the above project I also used the following:
  1. Labels framelits
  2. Bordering on Romance stamp set
  3. Outlined Occasions stamp set
  4. color spritzer with rich razzleberry stampin marker.
Don't hesitate to ask me any questions! Thanks for Lookin'!

I think they will enjoy it. This month's club promotion will include FREE fabric buttons with a $30 purchase! I will post pictures of our projects soon!

Until then, if you are ever interested in having fun while doing what you love, don't hesitate to contact me. I'll be glad to help!

Easter weekend

The month of April is upon us and Easter weekend has already arrived! Yesterday my husband and I attended a bible study that was hosted by CLife church in Forney, TX. David Platt, author of "Radical", was the speaker and was he fast! There was much material to cover and he definitely made an effort to cover everything! Pretty intense!

Anywho, the study was very good and it spoke to me and encouraged me to praise God in the midst of our suffering. Easy to hear but hard to do! As we celebrate Easter this weekend, be encouraged and empowered to continue running the race!

Many people celebrate with families and friends, and amongst those families and friends are avid crafters that create the cutest little baskets and cards to give to loved ones.
I would like to share my uplines' demonstration that we created for this awesome celebration.

First off, we created a card using the "Everybunny" stamp set. A very cute yet simple card!

The little easter basket was made using crumb cake cardstock, the woodgrain background stamp, and the fun flowers Big Shot die. Isn't it adorable?! You may not believe me but the basket was simple to create!

  1. All you do is cut your 6" x 6" CS and score it 2" on each side, leaving you with 9 squares.
  2. Then cut each corner square into 1/3's .
  3. The top and bottom middle square is cut into a triangle shape.

4.  Take first section from left & right side and attach. Continue attaching sections. Finish by attaching the triangle on top. I just used regular adhesive for this.
